Der Task Heute ist abgesagt. Für die Piloten gibt es ab 15:00 ein gratis Bierfass. Heute: "Tiroler Abend" mit den "Oberlienzer Plattlern" und dem "Heimatland Duo" ab 20:00.

Der erste Task ist entschieden. Alex Hofer aus der Schweiz gewinnt 32 Sekunden vor Josef Brantner aus Österreich. Dritter wird der Franzose Jacques Fournier. Bester einheimischer Pilot ist Albert Lukasser mit einem sensationellen 42. Platz. Von den 129 gestarteten Piloten haben 62 das Ziel erreicht. Alle Ergebnisse gibt es hier

The first task is over. Alex Hofer from Swizerland wins 32 seconds ahead Josef Brantner from Austria. Third is the French Jacques Fournier. Best local pilot is Albert Lukasser with a sensational 42. placement. From 129 started pilots reached 62 the goal. All the results are here

Die Aufgabe für heute ist gesetzt. Die Piloten sind in der Luft. Sie müssen den Startzylinder mit 2 km radius nach der Startzeit verlassen. Es stehen 4 Startzeiten zur auswahl: 13:30 13:40 13:50 und 14:00. Danach müssen sie folgende Punkte abfliegen:

Hochstein Talstation

Thal

Dölsacher Kirche

und das Ziel schnellstmöglich erreichen. Die Strecke beträgt ca 40 km. Das Rennen kann online mitverfolgt werden: hier

The task for today is set. The pilots are in the air. They have to leave the start cylinder with 2 km radius after the start time. There are 4 start times available: 13:30 13:40 13:50 und 14:00. After that they have to fly across the following points:

Thal

Dölsacher Kirche

and reach the goal as fast as possible. The distance is about 40 km. You can follow the race online: here

Die Aufgabe über 41km für Heute wurde gesetzt. Die Piloten müssen von Zettersfeld aus folgende Punkte abfliegen:

Oberlienz

Dölsach

Mittewald

Golfhotel

und als schnellster die Ziellinie am Landeplatz touch heaven überfliegen. Die Startzeit steht noch nicht fest. Es wird bei guten Bedingungen spontan gestartet.

and fly as fastest over the finish line. The start time is not set yet. If the conditions are good they start spontaneusly.

Das Wetter ist besser aber nicht gut. Die Piloten sind zum auf dem Weg zum Startplatz. Wir hoffen einen Task durchführen zu können. Um 12:00 ist das nächste Briefing am Startplatz angesetzt. Wir werden sehen wie sich das Wetter entwickelt. News gibts auf jeden fall hier.

Today the task is cancelled again because of the weather.

We offer a Rafting tour on the river Isel for the pilots starts on 13:00. Barbecue (all you can eat) and Party included. Bus from the Headquarter and back.

Das Wetter hat sich Heute um ca 15:00 gebessert und machte ein Fliegen möglich. Die meisten Piloten nutzten die Gelegenheit für einen kurzen "Hupfer"...

The weather got better at 15:00 and made flying possible. Most of the pilots did a short flight.

In the afternoon there is maybe a short flyable window. Tickets for the cable car are available in the Headquarter.

Tomorrow evening a slide show about "Nationalpark Hohe Tauern" at 20:30

Paragliding World Cup in Lienz

Anbei ein sehr Artikel zu dem Paraglidingworldcup 2011 in Lienz auf auf Dolomitenstadt.at

Erstmals ist es gelungen, den Paragliding World Cup und damit die Weltelite dieser Trendsportart nach Lienz zu holen. Ambitionierter Veranstalter ist der 1989 ins Leben gerufene Verein „Touch Heaven Lienz“, der derzeit 27 Mitglieder zählt. Das Osttiroler Sportereignis ist Teil der Europa Tour (Österreich, Türkei, Spanien) und dient – wie die Veranstaltungen in Kolumbien und Korea – der Qualifikation für das Superfinale, das im Jänner 2012 in Valle de Bravo in Mexiko über die Bühne gehen wird. Österreichische Meisterschaft der Vereine im Paragleiten findet in Virgen dieses Wochenende statt. Im Rahmen der Meisterschaften wird auch die Siegerehrung der österr. Paragleiter-Liga durchgeführt. Wann: SA 09.10. und SO 10.10.2010 Wo: am Landeplatz in Virgen / Niedermauern (Ersatztermin: 16. – 17.10.2010) Unser Club wird mit 2 oder 3 Teams mit vertreten sein.
